Esso Construction was founded by a Clemson Alum named Dan Giordano who spent his early

career as a land planner. After designing master plans for large developments in North and

South Carolina he moved on to designing and building concrete swimming pools in the greater

Charlotte area because he loved the nitty gritty details of a residential paradise. To gain

tremendous experience in managing construction and understanding the intricate details of all

trades, Dan worked in Manhattan New York as a commercial construction super for 7 years. He

built headquarter offices for Mediterranean Shipping Company, Verizon, Victoria’s Secret, RSM,

Justworks and various projects for Deloitte and Macy’s to name a few. All the while he was

running job sites in NYC, he acquired his own skill as a carpenter and all around fine craftsman

by building furniture, bars, decks and porches for family and friends. Dan has since returned to

the Charlotte area and grown his business nearby his family. The breadth of Dan’s knowledge in

all construction aspects has allowed Esso Construction to take on kitchens, bathrooms, open

concept living rooms, decks, porches, outdoor showers, outdoor kitchens, patios, staircases,

sheds, and garages since starting the business in early 2022.
